Observation Practice 1 zusgazmy, 19/11/202319/11/2023 Home » Blog » Observation Practice 1 19, November, 2023 This is a practice from “Ace”, he wanted to learn deduction with my help. I’d like to share this practice as an example of how I observe compare to beginner level observation from Ace. Before continue reading, if you want to learn deduction, spend 3 minutes to observe this cup, then compare your answer to Ace’s and mine. . . . Ace On the surface there is a dark wooden desk with some stains most likely from prior cups as noted by the amount and size of stains. The cup has corny text that nobody unless married would buy. The cup is rather large. I see a monitor in the right corner of the background. *Note: This is an observation of someone just started day 1, an example of how normal people see. To be a deductionist, your observations require to be more detailed. How was your deduction compared to Ace’s ? Parrot This is my feedback for Ace. You noticed the word phrase, which is cool. But you didn’t observe the position of the handle of the cup compared to the phrase. In this case, you’d have missed that this person is right handed. You missed the material of the cup, so you’d have missed that this person drink tea or coffee. You missed the scratches, the stain on the letter, so you’d have missed this is an old cup. It probably sounds like a roast to you, but don’t take it personally, use these pointers to improve your observation. Most of my deduction I got is because I observe better than others, not because I’m smarter. This is a practice from this Exercise, a part of my training program for beginner.
