Detective Method 1: The Tape

Trick 1

When taping an object to the ground, it forces the person who wants it to use bare hand to take off the tape to take the object. By touching the tape, this person would leave behind fingerprints. And they can’t use glove because they can’t get the tape out using them.

Of course, there’s ways to take off the tape without leaving behind fingerprints, but most people wouldn’t notice and just take it with their bare hands.

Let’s say the object they want is a rubik cube. You tape by using a piece of tape that long enough to tape the surface of the cube to the ground. Doing this 4 times for 4 sides of the cube.

This example might not make a lot of sense since who would tape the rubik cube. But if you understand the mechanism, use the tape to your creativity.

Trick 2

You can also tape your door to see if it’s opened when you’re not there.

When closing the door, stick a small tape to the side of the door with the hinges, tape it to the wall next to it. When the door is opened and closed by someone who didn’t know, the tape will come out from its original state, and even collect dust on occasions.

Using clear tape and tape the door low to avoid suspicion.

You can also use this trick any where else such as closets or drawers.
