The disappearance of the evidence

The break-in was a huge success, Parrot was pleased. These 2 criminals has been under surveillance for 3 months and they’ve been caught off guard this time with 2 kilos of heroin. He put the evidence in the trunk, closed it when the 2 sergeants were still eyeing it.

“This stuff worths a lot of money, more than our pay combined for a whole year.” Martin said as he helped Jerome put the criminals onto another car.

” I know but it is what it is, now we gotta bring these bad boys in. Let’s go.” Jerome replied as he’s closing the door.

The 3 cars hurriedly drive back to the station about 10 kilometers away. Ernie, the gate keeper, opened the gate for them to drive in and closed it behind. As they were bringing the criminals in, they kept bragging their hunt with sergeant Barney. Parrot went inside to take a nap after a long night waiting outside of a dark warehouse, just to be waken up by Ernie.

“Hey, anyone here? ” Ernie screamed as he was running in ” The 3 car’s trunks were busted, did you guys forgot to close all three? .”

“Someone broke into it. You were at the gate, did you see anyone? “

“No, my break started at 6, I was sitting in the bar across the street, if any car pulled up, I would have known” Ernie tried to speak as he’s out of breath, ” I came back at 6:30 and saw all the trunk were opened.”

” So no one was in, no one was out, one of us did it” Parrot spoke to himself softly.
