The deadly fall

Oreon is a famous hotel chain, known for its luxurious and professional service. Every building is different, but they all have its signature architecture: tall and have a statue in the front of the hotel.

On a windy stormy night, Parrot was called because someone fell on the sword of the knight statue, which made a bloody disturbing scene.

The chief police on scene says: “You don’t really have to come all this way detective, the victim just felt on his own from the balcony. His name is Antony, come here for the antique auction. His room is straight up from the statue on the 20th floor, door was locked and we found his right glove hanging at the balcony.

” What is this line around his neck? Clearly somebody strangled him before throwing him down.” – Parrot says with a low voice while examining the body still impaled on the statue.

“We didn’t see that, we’re still preserving the scene for the forensic team.” Chief police replies. ” The auction ended this afternoon and a lot of people already left, but there are 4 rooms still occupied during the time of his fall, I’ll send someone to get the list for you.”

This is an annual event, and most people know each other already. Room 2001 is on the left of the victim’s room, Lauren stays here. She says that was in a shower, get ready to leave.

Rick is a big guy, stay in room 1903 on the right side of Antony’s room but in one lower floor. He says he was tired and fall asleep during that time.

Eugene is skinny, always have a smirk on his face like he’s better than you. His room is 2102, directly above the victim’s room. “I was watching the discovery channel, there’s no good shows around here anymore.”

Parrot walks into Antony’s room, trying to see if there were anything abnormal. There’s no sign of breaking in the door, furniture in the room stay in their places, his money still there.

Parrots walks to the balcony, looking at the window from room 2001, he has to squint his eyes as the wind was blowing hard at his eyes. The edge is big enough to walk over there, but not in this wind.

He walks to the other side to see room 1903 below. The curtain were shut, nothing inside can be seen. The possibility of using a stick to hit Antony is really low and it doesn’t explain the strangle.

The balconies are stacking on top of each other so you can’t really see a lot even if you try to lean out. But you can climb down from above pretty safely if you’re in shape.

Parrot goes inside huffing on his cigar as he’s thinking about the case.
