Reexamine Deductions

I made a mistake today.

I was analyzing a whiteboard and there was a date on the board saying “Nov 25th”. The usual deduction came straight out of memory is this is in the US since it is month first then date.

However, I did not check the meaning of the date, which made my deduction wrong.

Nov 25th is a Saturday, which, in the US there’s no school on a Saturday. More significantly, this is thanksgiving week and every school have this half week off.
