Case #3: The mystery profile

Take a look at this profile for yourself, don’t do any deduction yet, just list what do you see. Be precise. List everything.

A lot of smart people fall into the trap of “seeing nothing” and assume with the stereotype.

While a lot of it have a high percentage to be true since it’s stereotype,

But you’ll see that this person will miss a lot of details, opportunities to deduce even further.

Back to observation, let’s compare you answer to mine, see what you miss.

The resolution already suggests that this is a ss of a phone, but you can also point out the 3 dots top right.

There is a tiny white spot on the bottom left that OP didn’t fully cut, which was supposed to be the symbol right next to set status.

Let’s move to the most detail-oriented piece of this picture, the profile pic.

When I type these next observations, you’ll probably say i could have notice it but did you?

The profile pic is a manga character with conversation bubbles on his right, while on his left there is a character with makeup that looks like the Joker.

The main character has a doubtful look, sweat on his left cheek (on the right from looking at the screen), he’s looking at his left hand.

All of this give me a feel of this character just discover his power that he’s never seen before.

In my deduction, I didn’t include what is this manga,

But if you really want to, combine these info with some words in the bubble, i think you might be able to find it.

The next observation is simpler, but the simple stuff is usually the invisible pieces, the font of the name, the symbol on the right and the color purple on both the symbol and the blur.

Even though some of these information don’t end up give me any deduction, but look at how much further I can deduce already compared to the “deduction” above.
